The Battle oe the Alamo was made to fit in a standard 8 1/2 by 11 inch frame.
Having said that I have found that all 8 1/2 by 11 inch frames are not the same and where it fits in most of them I have found some that don't work.
The actual measurements
The top plateau is 7 and 7/8 inches wide by 10 and 1/4 inch long at it's greatest dimension.
The bottom ledge is 8 and 1/4 inches wide by 10 and 3/4 inches long.
I made the model with a ledge around it to catch the frame.
Once framed the model stands up a little above the frame.
