The Mico VFD has an assigned jurisdiction of the Northeast section of Medina County and comprises approximately 100 square miles of rough, Hill Country terrain.
It is bounded by Bandera County and Medina Lake on the North, By Bexar County on the East, by County Roads 371 and 361 on the South, and by County Roads 265 and 3501 on the West
The area is bisected ( east /west ) by Medina Lake and the Medina River. The Base station is located in East Mico and the Sub-Station in West Mico.
