Mico Volunteer Fire Department

The Best Little Firehouse in Texas ........By a DAM site!!!!

IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY !!!!!

CALL 911

If you are on a cell phone tell the person who answers that you are in Medina County.

Don't call the Fire Department - there is usually no one there.

Don't call your friend that is a fireman. He may not be home.

If you call 911 they will page the entire Fire Department out at one time and we will be able to get to you faster than in any other way.

Controlled Burns

Report all controlled burns to (830) 931-4020 or (830) 741-6150

Give the County Sheriff's office a call if you are going to burn some brush, or anything else, it will probably keep us from being called out and showing up on your doorstep with all of our equipment. Because the person on the phone says it is OK to burn does not mean that it is safe to burn, it just means he has logged you in.

For more information go to Controlled Burn Regulations
